Welcome to Stauffer Family Dental where we perform preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry for all ages! Our patients appreciate the quality of dentistry we provide, however, we believe they stay for a very different reason: we care about our patients, their families and their concerns. Your First Visit Is an Opportunity to Share your Story
Your first visit is our chance to get to know you and your dental needs, so we always allow additional time to:
Review your medical history.
Chart all existing dental work.
Perform a full periodontal screening to evaulate the health of your bone and gums.
Take x-rays to examine if you have cavities, infection or alignment abnormalities. Please understand we take digital x-rays to take care of you and find problems early. We will only review recent x-rays from a previous office if you requested them prior to your first visit.
Dr. Heidi will do a full comprehensive exam evaluating any dental issues: this includes an oral cancer screening.
Discuss our findings and make any recommendations for treatment
If indicated, a cleaning will performed. If an extensive cleaning is recommended at your first visit, we will reschedule you to allow the appropriate amount of time.
Our treatment coordinator will review your treatment plan and any insurance coverage. If indicated, we will send a predetermination to your insurance.
Lastly, we will schedule your next dental cleaning and any necessary treatment.

Things to Do Before Your First Appointment
Please print and fill out the new patient forms. We ask you to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time so we may stay on time and also create your digital chart.
Please bring your insurance card and photo ID to your first visit if you have insurance.
Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy
Please understand we do not accept cancellations via answering machine, text or email. We ask that you give at least 48 hours notice if you need to make a change and in return, we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. For questions, call 614-882-2249.
We Believe Your Time is Valuable
We believe your time is as valuable as our time, so we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out paperwork or update medical information. Dr. Heidi make it a priority to stay on schedule and only alter their appointments in the event of immediate dental emergencies. We greatly appreciate your understanding.
Our goal is to help remove financial barriers so our patients can have the dental care they need. Insurance can be overwhelming and very complicated; our Service Beyond a Smile staff will be happy to assist you in maximizing your benefits.
