Screening Questions at Stauffer Family Dental in Westerville, OH
We have made many changes at our office to make sure that our patients are as safe as possible coming, going, and receiving treatment at our office. One of the things we have done to make our patients and staff safer are our screening questions. First thing in the morning, every staff member's temperature is recorded and they are asked screening questions about new fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Are we tired of answering these questions? A little . . . but it is a small thing to help ensure our patient's safety. We call all of our patients 24-48 hours before their appointment to ask them our screening questions which include questions about symptoms, exposure, and travel. This allows us to prevent patients that may be at risk from coming into the office. If we need to, we can reschedule them 2 weeks out to prevent a possible exposure. Then, as much as patients love to answer these questions, too, we do ask them again when they come in for their appointment and take and record their temperature at that time. This is just one of the small things that we are doing to keep our patients and staff safe in our office. Please feel free to call and ask about any of our precautions we are taking. I hope everyone is staying healthy. If you are looking for a new dentist, we are accepting new patients at Stauffer Family Dental in Westerville, OH.
